International Connectivity:

Hyderabad Airport (Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Limited) is the sixth busiest airport in the country by passenger traffic. The airport is well-connected globally and can be reached with atmost one layover from most of the major cities in the world. The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad is located at a 40-minute drive from the meeting venue, HICC. The airport is already handling 5-7 million passengers in the first phase of development. The airport has 4-10 hr flying connectivity to most Asian and European countries. Several leading International airlines fly to Hyderabad directly namely British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Fly Dubai, Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, Saudi, Silk Air, Tiger Airways, Thai Airways International, and Air India. More airlines are expected to start their services to Hyderabad in near future. Domestic Connectivity: Hyderabad is also very well connected with tier-1 and tier 2 cities within the country. Many domestic airlines ply between these cities carrying millions of passengers every year. Major domestic airlines include Air India, Indigo, SpiceJet, Go Air, JetliteTruJet, and Vistara.

By Train

Frequency of trains from various cities: 

Secunderabad/Hyderabad is well connected by train network. Trains are available from Delhi (Telangana Rajdhani), Mumbai (Hussain Sagar Exp.), Howrah (East Coast Exp., Falaknuma Exp.), Chennai (Chennai Express), Vishakapatnam (Godavari Exp., Falaknuma Exp. East Coast Exp.), Bengaluru (Garib rath, Bengaluru Exp.), Tirupati (Narayanadri, Venkatadri, Rayalaseema Exp.), Trivandrum (Sabari Express), and Manmad (Ajanta Exp.). Most of these trains run daily between these cities.

 Number of Train Stations:

Hyderabad and Secunderabad jointly have three railway stations, namely Nampally Railway Station, Secunderabad Railway Station and Kacheguda Railway Station. Trains run from all three stations to many of the major cities/capitals of the country almost every day.

Connection from Train Stations to Conference Venue: 

From any of these three railway stations, taxis/cabs can be hired to reach conference venue (from Secunderabad – INR 350, Nampally – INR 350 and Kacheguda – INR 400). The other option is to take MMTS/Metro train to reach Hi-Tech city station. An auto-rickshaw can be taken from there to reach Congress centre. This would cost INR 60-80.

Connection from Train Stations to Hotels:

Delegates who once arrive at any of these three stations in twin cities can book a cab/taxi and reach their hotel. It would cost INR 10-12 per km depending on the cab booked.

Peak Traffic Hours:

The peak traffic hours are 0900 – 1100 Hrs and 1800 – 2100 Hrs in the areas like Punjagutta, Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Madhapur, Ameerpet, Koti, Begumpet, Kukatpally. Rest of the time traffic is manageable.

Airport to Meeting Venue

By Hired Taxi:

Currently it costs around INR 900-1100 + toll charges (from airport to HICC and it takes 35-40 minutes to reach by Nehru ORR (Outer Ring Road).

By Pushpak (Airport Coach):

These coaches operate from Airport – Shilparamam - Airport which would take about 45 mins one way in peak hours and 35 minutes in less traffic hours. These coaches will run every one hour from Airport throughout the day and currently costs Rs. 280.
